Personally, we’d keep the room in “Party Mode” 24/7. That’s the ideal way for us to “study”!

Low didn’t get permission to trick out his dorm room but he DID follow university rules and
assemble BRAD using tape and non-hole making fasteners. But there’s a chance he might
have to take it all down. A university hearing has been scheduled for today. Good luck Derek!

Why? Because the Class of 2014 has 16 sets of twins in it, a new record that
the school recently certified for entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.

In order to apply for the Guinness record, the school had to produce a list of all
the names of the twins and their birth dates and send it in on official school
letter with the school seal. They also had to collect each pairs birth certificates.

The current record is held by the graduating class of Pomperaug High School in
Southbury, Connecticut. (What’s up, Connecticut?!!!) They had 13 sets of twins.

Twins account for 8.42% of the 380 students in the Staples High School Class of 2014.
According to the Twin Association, just 2% of the U.S. population has a twin.

Well..not Caine Monroy.

This 9-year-old took a bunch of cardboard boxes, lots and lots of packing tape and some
ahead-of-his years entrepreneurial spirit to create Caine’s Arcade in his dad’s auto parts shop.

One flash mob event and the following video later, Caine’s Arcade is a worldwide phenomenon.

Since this video debuted, Caine has received over $80,000 in donations toward a college fund.

AND, if you live in the Los Angeles area or will be in LA over Mother’s Day weekend,
you can experience Caine’s “outside of the box but inside of the boxes” Arcade at
Unique LA’s Spring Show in downtown LA, May 12-13 from 11am-6pm.

Genius starts when it comes from the heart. That’s what we say. That’s how Caine plays.

The sun was out. The fun was out. And the kids were OUT OF CONTROL!!!!

We were fortunate enough to have this view from our booth.

Nothing better than watching kids rock climb, tumble down the giant slide
and flip, twist, turn and twirl on the acrobatic jump launch pad.

We made some great friends at the event too! Including Jacqueline and Alison who were
there to showcase their killer karate kicks but humored us with their great sense of fun.

This family dropped by for some good ol’ Skullastic fun. We were particularly impressed when
mom (on the right) informed us she doesn’t have an email address or use a computer. Seriously?!

And we were also impressed to meet Shanaya Fastje. She’s 13. She’s graduating
from high school this year. She’s preparing to speak at a seminar to a crowd of 1000s
and she’s cool as can be about it! Shanaya’s ready to take the world by storm.

Whether it’s acting, singing, writing or inspirational public speaking we know she’s gonna own it!

Buy a couple rolls of painters tape and roll out some awesome wall graphics!

That’s exactly what Late Architects, a Polish studio, did to snazz things up.

Using just paint, wood and about 3,000 feet of tape (’tis true!)
they created some bold, black-white-and-red graphics and
geometric letters that look like a deconstructed Constructivist poster!

The graphics were designed to reflect the surroundings. About 1,400 photos
of abandoned factories and industrial areas were snapped, then converted into
an abstract mural turning ordinary blah walls into some dynamic AHA! walls.

Just so you know…a typical roll of masking tape is 60 yards or 180 feet long.
So 16+ ROLL OF TAPE (and a lot of patience) were used to create the designs.
